Simple Fraction Bar Activity
Do your students have trouble with fractions? Looking for a fun activity to do with your class? Here is an easy activity that will be a change from the usual worksheet.
Directions: Print out the colored fraction bars for each student. The students will then cut them into smaller pieces and sort them by color or by denominator. Following the instructions on the page, they will find physical pieces of fractions that are equivalent. For example they could hold up 3 of the 1/6 pieces and show
