Introducing students to geometric proofs in a geometry class can be a difficult task for both teachers and students. I created this introductory lesson to help get my students' brains in gear. After teaching the first few introductory chapters the kids should have some understanding of basic definitions, postulates and theorems. This worksheet will help them "squeeze" as much information as possible from "givens" in formal proofs. Since I started using this paper and other similar worksheets
Systems of Equations can be an overwhelming chapter for many students. These notes were created to give simple, straight-forward examples about each "Systems of Equations" method. Methods included: graphing, substitution, elimination.
Examples include problems with one solutions, infinitely many solutions and no solutions.

Are your students struggling with Systems of Equations? My algebra students could use a lot of extra practice with this concept. It takes a while for their brains to go through the same steps that mine do as a teacher. I created this study guide to help "wire" their brains for solving systems of equations. The worksheet starts out simple and just gets them to look at the problem and develop a game plan. By the end they are choosing their own method of elimination.
Many teachers show multipl
Are your students struggling with linear equations? This worksheet was created to isolate one specific topic...moving equations into Standard Form. This skill is often thrown in to other sections and students are expected to know how to do it because they technically already learned how to solve equations. Unfortunately a lot of students still struggle with that and it can be hard to find worksheets that isolate this topic.
This printable paper contains 25 problems in a variety of forms that
Do your students need help with slope? We all know that there are a lot of resources available online but it takes time and energy to separate the good resources with the bad resources.
This download is a 3-page editable Word document that provides 27 different QR codes and website links to lesson tutorial videos, printable worksheets and online practice for your students. I have pulled resources from Khan Academy, Cool Math, Virtual Nerd and many other sites that address linear equations.
