This activity can be used when talking about the George Washington and the first Cabinet. This asks students to find the three pieces of information for each member of the Cabinet. These pieces of information are: the name of each position, a description of each position, and the name of the person who was in Washington's Cabinet.

This assignment includes two recipes for desserts. The original recipe is listed on the worksheet, and the assignment is that the students need to make more than they originally thought. They must go through and, using their skills of adding and multiplying fractions, create new larger recipes. There are two columns on this assignment for each recipe.
