This is an extensive study of the novel The Year of the Hangman by Gary Blackwood. This novel study contains vocabulary by chapter, prediction logs, chapter questions, an answer guide, activities, bulletin board design idea, final project ideas, and a set of questions for students to use to help the students write a biography on the author. This packet teaches students how to search effectively online. I walks through why to use special characters when searching as well as how to narrow search results effectively.
