Over 15 years of classroom teaching experience in grades 2 through 5 with endorsements in gifted and K-5 math education and subject-area certification in English Language Arts and Social Studies (K-8). Doctoral candidate in educational policy and professional learning. I've been featured in Georgia Department of Education ELA trainings related to Digital Literacy and Writing Instruction, and I have presented on assistive technology and Google tools at the Georgia Educational Technology Conference. I've presented local professional learning on math instruction, writing, technology integration, and ELA best practices.

IB Primary Years Programme Word Wall
This printable file contains some of the key vocabulary words used in the Primary Years Programme of International Baccalaureate. It includes the learner profile traits, the learner attitudes, and the terms "action cycle" and "internationally minded." These are not posters that describe each component but rather colorful word cards that can be integrated into an existing word wall to reinforce the learning and understanding of key PYP vocabulary.

This set includes a header that says "What's on Today?," a set of 9 blank clock faces, and a set of 9 cards that can be used to write the digital clock time. All cards are in the same colors and background patterns as my Colorful Class Schedule Cards.
NOTE: This set is intended for print on A4 size paper, which has slightly different dimensions from 8.5" x 11" paper. A separate set for 8.5 x 11" paper is available.

My own education history
I have a PhD in Educational Administration and Policy from the University of Georgia. I am also a three-time graduate from Michigan State University with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Teaching with a concentration on childhood literacy. I also received a B.A. in Elementary Education with teaching cognates in English Language Arts and Social Studies and a B.A. in English with cognates in Environmental Studies, International Relations, and Economics.
