Over 15 years of classroom teaching experience in grades 2 through 5 with endorsements in gifted and K-5 math education and subject-area certification in English Language Arts and Social Studies (K-8). Doctoral candidate in educational policy and professional learning. I've been featured in Georgia Department of Education ELA trainings related to Digital Literacy and Writing Instruction, and I have presented on assistive technology and Google tools at the Georgia Educational Technology Conference. This file contains everything you'll need to teach the 4th Grade Common Core ELA Standard 4L1d. Order adjectives within sentences according to conventional patterns (e.g., a small red bag rather than a red small bag). These lessons assume that students already know what adjectives and nouns are.
This unit is structured to take about 1 week of instruction.

My own education history
I have a PhD in Educational Administration and Policy from the University of Georgia. I am also a three-time graduate from Michigan State University with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Teaching with a concentration on childhood literacy. I also received a B.A. in Elementary Education with teaching cognates in English Language Arts and Social Studies and a B.A. in English with cognates in Environmental Studies, International Relations, and Economics.
