I began my teaching career teaching kindergarten. I enjoyed every minute of my 13 years in kindergarten. Five years ago I looped up to first grade with my entire class! It was the best experience and I highly recommend it. There is nothing like starting a new year with all of the students you have had before. It was a very rewarding year for me. First graders are really fantastic learners.

Ten Frame game
In this Ten-frame math game children will practice their addition & subtraction skills. They will practice counting the dots on a die, filling up their ten frame and writing numerals. They will add or subtract depending on the skill you are practicing. Children can play on their own or pair up to compare most and least.

Teaching style
Hands on with many opportunities for the children to read, read, and read. I also LOVE my smart board. I can’t imagine not having one.
