Census Data Puzzle - Big Number Addition and Subtraction
Students use data from last year's census in Washington, DC and Montgomery County, Maryland to solve a puzzle. Using a series of big number addition and subtraction problems and an understanding of place value, students go to a link to determine if the 9-character password they solved for was accurate or not.
