Experience

We are a married couple of highly certified and veteran teachers. We both have masters in education. Along with the masters, we have certifications in special education, science, math, reading, and English. We have taught in both public, private and charter schools in grades 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, & 12

Teaching style

We both have the philosophy that not every child learns the same way. Our lessons reflect that philosophy. I like to include images, videos, cooperative lessons, internet based webquests, reading assignments, art and hands-on materials. We believe that you do not teach to the middle of the bell-curve, but to the entire bell-curve and that is possible by differentiating lessons to all learning styles. I put our lessons on the lower end of the price spectrum on purpose. We are also teachers, we know how much time and dedication it takes to be a great teacher. I have no problem sharing my lessons with others who have the same passion as we do. They are not locked. Tinker with them, make your own additions or use them as they are. Like our quote says: "Good teaching is one-fourth preparation and three-fourths theatre". Let us help you with the one-fourth prep part.
