My own education history

Gen is a graduate of Duke University, where she studied Biology and Earth and Ocean Science. Zoe is a graduate of UC Berkeley, where she studied Neurobiology, Psychology, and Spanish, and has a Master's degree in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University. They both hold Single Subject Biology Teaching Credentials in the state of California.

Hi! We are Gen and Zoe, two environmental science teachers living and teaching in Los Angeles, California. We love hands-on, interactive, student-centered learning anchored in real-world phenomena that centers environmental/social justice. We center our teaching around the communities in which we teach, so you'll find some products that are specific to Los Angeles in our store. In our own classrooms, we strive for project-based learning by having students work towards a culminating goal multimedia project at the end of each unit! We post everything from one-day lessons to full unit plans. We love making visually appealing products that are ready to use and easy to understand. From our own experience, we know that the best products develop through fruitful collaboration, and we love working together to share our lessons, developed with love, with all of you!
