I use this worksheet as notes for proving triangle congruence using SSS, SAS, ASA, AAS, and HL. This is a quick and easy way to talk about the differences between each theorem/postulate. Perimeter of Polygons Notes
These notes are word documents so you can modify if you'd like. These are notes on the perimeter of polygons. I start of with pretty basic problems, then have them solve for a missing side if given the perimeter and side of a rectangle. The last two perimeter problems are algebra based in that students must solve for x first knowing the perimeter and the sides in relation to x. This is a concept map for classifying triangles that needs to be filled in by students. I have something like a family tree for classifying triangles by angles and by sides. Parallel Angle Relationships
I use this as notes for introducing parallel angle relationships. I have important vocabulary at the top to assist with the lesson: congruent, supplementary angles, and transversal. I print these notes out on colored paper so my students can find these notes quickly for later lessons throughout the year.

I have many but I'm proudest at getting my students to believe in themselves. I focus on helping students make better decisions along with enforcing work being shown to build confidence in their math skills. I have taught over 2000 students and have helped many of those students achieve more than they thought possible.
My own education history
I have a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. I started tutoring students from elementary level up to high school level in all subjects while in college, even taking a class where I taught engineering concepts to at-risk middle school students. I decided early in my engineering career that education was my calling and have been teaching ever since.
