The FANBOYS SmartBoard Mini- Lesson contains the SmartBoard file for the FANBOYS Mini-Lesson. This lesson is designed for both an introduction to the FANBOYS as well as a review of the concepts. The lesson allows teachers to introduce the what, when, who, and how of the FANBOYS and include both guided and independent practice. This information is partnered with the FANBOYS Student Documents as well as the FANBOYS Teacher Documents.

The product is the pre-notes for the Factory Simulation. The North: Factory Workers is a Guided Note activity that allows students to both listen to the lesson, spark discussion, and still allow the students practice note-taking. This is the SmartBoard that accompanies the Student Guided Notes.

The Motivation Mini-Lesson is one for teachers to use while winding up or down the school, and even in the middle when motivation and effort seem to hard to find in our students. This lesson can be adapted for certain areas of character education or by content area. Content areas can modify the lesson by having students find motivational information about people in that particular field. This 7 slide lesson gives students the tools they need to understand and implement the pieces of writing an objective. It is very important for students to be able to write the objectives for their learning in order to determine the level of comprehension the student's attain during the lesson. This is not a concept student recite, but their depth of knowledge on the content is increased.

The five Themes of Geography a Smart Notebook product that will provide teachers an interactive and cooperative learning activity to introduce the themes. The WH game contains 5 'short' stories that that include multiple opportunities for WH questions. Students are required to both create and answer the WH questions while playing the game. This game is designed for maintenance and mastery of the WH skill set once students have already been introduced to the concept.
