The Titanic Mini-Research Project is an assessment of a culmination of skillsets. The skillsets addressed by the titanic Mini-Research Project include research on a guided topic, pre-writing concepts, written composition and editing. This data sheet contains space for three goals and interventions. The sheet works well for writing breakdowns - capitalization, punctuation, and even spelling. The sheet can also be adapted to additional data points.

Kindness Boomerang is a character education mini-lesson for academic lab, homeroom, or classroom time. This lesson gives students the opportunity to work with others to discover many opportunities to show kindness. The mini-lesson includes extension activities, a short video, and cooperative learning scenarios.
The Motivation Mini-Lesson is one for teachers to use while winding up or down the school, and even in the middle when motivation and effort seem to hard to find in our students. This lesson can be adapted for certain areas of character education or by content area. Content areas can modify the lesson by having students find motivational information about people in that particular field. The Constitutions Summative Study Guide encompasses many aspects of the Constitution from start to finish. The Study guide also includes information about the Bill of Rights. The study guide begins with federalism and includes many key vocabulary terms. This study guide is not specific to the parts of the constitution, but its process of development.
The Branches of Government Review Quiz is a short review that gives students the key information about the Branches of Government. The Answer Key
Shays Rebellion Argumentative Writing Assignment is a formative assessment for Social Studies teachers both on the concept of argumentative writing and of Shays Rebellion. The assignment asked students to use many resources to complete a paragraph that includes text based evidence to prove their claim. The assignment also asks student to make a connection to the media frenzy during Shays Rebellion and a modern day event.
The ReADER Format Cue Cards allow students to check back and make sure that all parts of the ReADER format have been included in their writing. This structure sets up a format for students to follow when learning how to create a solid constructed response. The cue cards can be used in all content areas to support well written constructed response answers.
The Branches of Government Review Quiz is a short review that gives students the key information about the Branches of Government. The Answer Key is included in the product as well. Teachers may use the quiz as a guide to introduce key concepts to their students. This may be used as an introductory quiz for secondary students or a final quiz for the elementary students.

The Sentence Formula Review 2 is an additional worksheet to check for understanding in writing simple sentence. The worksheet requires students to label simple and compound sentences as well as create their own simple and compound sentences. This product is designed to allow teachers to quickly assess students using KU strategies in sentence composure.
