Graphic Notation Conversion Activity #2
This activity serves to introduce graphic notation versus traditional notation with common, public domain melodies. Students fill in the scribble notation on the graphic notation grid with the letter names on the left side of each grid. In activity 6, students are introduced to eighth notes briefly. Loopy Melodies - Loop and Chord-Inspired Melody Writing
These are a collection of 6 basic chord progressions in G major, using chords I, IV, V, and I written for any similar treble clef instruments (e.g., recorders, xylophones, marimbas). There is an added percussion line with 3 instruments, e.g., bass drum, snare drum, and triangle. These can be modified.

Possible Uses:
