I use these when beginning to teach opinion essay writing to my students. The pros & cons were given from students the first year I did this. The template is how I teach my students. I teach a 4th grade, self-contained 12:1 class.

These are exit slips/tickets used for assessment at the end of each Go Math lesson in Chapter 8 (grade 4). There is a lower level (with scaffolding, steps, or models) and a grade level task for each lesson. I use these at the end of my lessons to check students' understanding, create groups, collect data, and adjust instruction. I teach a 4th grade, self-contained special education class.
