About the store

After 18 years teaching 3rd and 4th grades in two Title 1 schools, I accepted the opportunity to dive into the world of primary education. As I am completing my first year in 1st grade, I am desiring to teach and celebrate in an even more integrated fashion than ever before! I hope to accomplish this goal as I learn the process of designing my own materials. Comments and suggestions are very welcome! :)

Choose your favorite recording sheet and laminate for each student. Have them record with erasable markers the multiple ways one can use to model addition. Requiring multiple ways to solve problems will increase their flexibility in thinking and deepen their understanding of addition of larger numbers! ***The first grade goal doesn't mention 2-digit by 2-digit addition, but those are the examples I provide.
