Experience

I have been teaching French for 20 years.

Teaching style

French is my passion! Sharing this passion for the language and the cultures it represents with others and lighting a life-long desire to learn is my goal. I believe that in our culturally diverse world, speaking another language enhances one's quality of life and gives access to aspects of human experiences unavailable to those who are monolingual. My lessons are designed to equip students with the skills necessary to communicate with others relying on linguistic and cultural knowledge available to them at the time. No worries if you don't know how to say "It smells good" as you are enjoying a intoxicating aroma of a freshly-baked French bread! Using circumlocution, I will teach you how to tailor your message to your level and say: "My nose likes it." I will teach you not only to get your ideas across but to sound and act French. I will enable you to understand, appreciate and fall in love with the Francophone world and discover a little France in your heart!
