This is a game that consists of cards that include decimal models, word names, standard form, and fractions. Cut apart the cards, and give each pair of students a set to arrange and match the forms of decimals. A great follow-up activity is the Forms of Decimals Chart I also have for sale. (Some of the decimal model pictures are in color. For consistency, I suggest printing in black and white on colored cardstock.)

This PowerPoint is designed to help students understand different ways of making combinations and organized lists, by presenting information in a visual, interactive format. Examples include making combinations involving shoes and socks, snacks and drinks, and number combinations.

I created this for an activity with probability. This can also be adapted to use with M&Ms. Using individual-sized bags of Skittles or M&Ms, students count out the number of candies total, and then record the number of each color of candy. They must then determine the probability of drawing each color from the bag. Students must determine which colors have the greatest and least probabilities of being drawn. I created this PowerPoint so that the students would focus specifically on the properties of polygons and using those to classify them. Students become detectives and use the clues (properties) to identify the suspects (polygons).

Similar to the Skittles Probability I also have for sale, this activity is designed to be used with individual size bags of candies such as M&Ms. Students are to find the fractional amount of the whole bag for each color. They are also to order the fractional parts from least to greatest, and compare fractional amounts of different colors.
