About the store
I was fortunate to be able to work overseas and improve my language abilities during my 20s. I returned to a career in social studies and foreign language teaching and love it! I left the public schools to raise my children and now run an extracurricular language school for K-6 kids. My products range from materials appropriate for Spanish I-IV to exploratory units appropriate for K-8 age levels.

About the store

Experience

I was fortunate to be able to work overseas and improve my language abilities during my 20s. I returned to a career in social studies and foreign language teaching and love it! I left the public schools to raise my children and now run an extracurricular language school for K-6 kids. My products range from materials appropriate for Spanish I-IV to exploratory units appropriate for K-8 age levels.

Teaching style

I use the whole language approach. Children are speaking in full sentences from the very first day. At the end of each unit kids are putting on skits and their parents are amazed at what we've accomplished all while their kids have been having fun!

My own education history

M.S. in Spanish B.A. International Relations with minor in French School for International Training semester abroad to francophone Madagascar High school exchange student for one year to Germany

Additional biographical information

Update: I'm leaving the teaching field and rather than let all my work fade away, I'm going to give it all away! I hope it helps you in your classroom!
