Together we have been teaching 30 years. In those years we have taught Algebra, Algebra 2, Geometry, Calculus, Math I, Math II, Math III, Applied Math, and Math Lab.
This product corresponds with the 3.4 powerpoint. This is a terrific worksheet to get your students to both think and master the skill of evaluating functions from a given graph. It also offers a more challenging question for higher level thinkers where they are required to create their own function on a graph based on a given scenario.
This bundle contains all of the resources for Math II Unit 1 Extending the Number System. Including: -Math I Unit 1 Outline/Mp -Guided Notes -11 power points -Worksheets -Answer keys -Unit review & key -Unit Test & key 22 Days of instruction
This review includes: -Evaluating functions -Determine whether a given graph is a function -Domain and range -Continuous vs. Discrete - Various representations of functions (table, graph, mapping) -Write function rules -Independent & dependent variables
Students are ask to write a function rule from given tables, determine the function rule from a given input & output, and write a function rule for a given situation. This is a terrific day two of writing function rules.
This worksheet correlates with the 1.2 Day 2 Simplifying Radicals with Variables Power-Point. It contains 12 questions where students are asked to simplify radicals that contain variables. It also contains 3 questions where students are asked to simplify using the properties of exponents.
This worksheet correlates with the 1.2 Day 1 Simplifying Radicals Power-Point. It contains 16 simplifying radical questions and 6 questions regarding the properties of exponents.
This worksheet correlates with 1.1 Properties of Real Numbers PPT. This worksheet contains: #1-20 Name appropriate property for the following statements. #21-23 Give a reason to justify each step.
This worksheet correlates with the 1.5 Connecting Algebra to Proofs powerpoint. This worksheet contains 6 proofs where students are asked to justify each statement in the given proof.
This assignment requires students to write a function rule from a given table. It also has a few review questions on identifying independent and dependent variables. This worksheet is section 3.3 of Unit 3 for Math I.
This worksheet coincides with the 3.2 Power Point. It is the third day of learning about functions. This assignment includes: Evaluating values using a graphState the domain and range of each graphDetermine whether the given graph represents a function
This worksheet offers a day 3/extra practice for section 3.3 writing function rules. This worksheet will challenge students to: 1. Write function rules from given situation & use the rule to answer application questions. 2. Write a rule for each given table and answer the application question using the rule. 3.Use a given table to determine the rate, y-intercept, & the function rule
This worksheet coincides with the 3.2 Power Point. It is the assignment for day 2 of a 3 day lesson. This assignment includes: Rewriting equations in function notationEvaluating functionsEvaluating functions given a table Graphing functionsTranslating statements into ordered pairs & plotting the pointsDetermining whether a given relation is a function.Stating domain and rangeApplication problemThis is a GREAT! day 2 worksheet for learning functions. It provides students with multiple level of di
This worksheet correlates with the 1.5 Rational Exponents Powerpoint. It contains 28 problems of converting rational exponents to radical form and radical form into rational exponents.
This worksheet coincides with the 3.2 Power Point This worksheet is a 3 part series. In this first worksheet students focus on evaluating functions given certain values.

Teaching style
Integrated math follows the Illinois State Standards. Every unit has been created by deconstructing the standards.
Each unit that we have created has PowerPoints with corresponding guided notes, example packets and worksheets.
We aim to integrate captivating activities into each unit that we have in the near future.
As teachers we believe that we need to make each day a meaningful learning experience for each one of our students.
My own education history
Both of us have graduated from Southern Illinois University.
Additional biographical information
Together we have been able to create a fully integrated math curriculum for high school teachers that is easy to implement. We have created Math I, Math II, Math III, and a Math I readiness course for incoming freshman who are not yet ready to take on the rigor of Math I.
We aim to give teachers the resources to create a classroom environment where students are able to thrive and grow as mathematical thinkers.
