This lesson teaches students how to cut out out a specific image from a background and then use that image to create a poster. This is a great lesson for teachers who want to create great looking presentations!. The students will find an athlete, musician or celebrity and remove them from the background. Then they will create a poster from that image. The students can take what they learn and then use it to make better presentations. My students love the results of this lesson and you will too!

I feel like this experience broadened my skills to create lessons for all types of learners. My wife also is an elementary school teacher.

Teaching style

I love teaching with technology. I use a flipped classroom style. I love that students can access lessons from anywhere. I try to incorporate many cross curricular activities in my lessons. I love lessons that have visual and auditory examples that let students learn at the pace they feel comfortable.

I have a business degree from Kent State University and two master's degrees from The University of Akron in education.
