This was designed as both a personal inquiry and visual arts learning tasks. Students are guided to reflect on how they self identify, and then to use elements of Line, Color, and Space to design and produce a masks that visually represents that identity. A graphic organizer and student work samples are provide in addition to assessment success criteria that can all support students in the development of their own Personal Identity Mask.
