Experience

Teaching style

I try to be a good role model, showing my students courtesy and respect, and keeping my sense of humor. I usually demonstrate expectations and then step aside to facilitate students as they develop new skills and knowledge. Students also need a secure, predictable environment. Consistent rules and procedures help students feel emotionally safe so they can take risks and ask for help.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Student teaching award... long, long ago!
