This Multiplication Table covers products up to 16x23. I had always wanted a "larger" multiplication table to share with my students and post in my classroom, so I decided to make my own. This has been a great resource. I've even used it for memory games and extra credit opportunities.

These story problems are a fun way to get your students thinking about integers. I assigned this worksheet to my students on the first day that we covered integers in class. It contains story problems relating to integers, whole numbers, negative numbers, and absolute values.

Students will use football scenarios (yards gained and lost) to solve integer problems. This file includes a number line at the top that students could use to help them visually trace the gains and losses of the football team. This was always a fun one during football season for my students. We would comment at the end whether or not the team was doing well that season! This practice includes subtracting integers (positive minus positive, positive minus negative, etc.). Each section contains practice items for the specific type of problem (i.e. positive minus a negative) and helpful examples and reminders. The final section includes a mixed variety of problems. These are a great review after teaching how to subtract integers!

These prompts will challenge students to determine which consecutive whole numbers add up to a given sum. The following are sample prompts: 1. 3 consecutive whole numbers that add up to 24 2. 4 consecutive whole numbers that add up to 354 These are great as a challenge in a math center for your students or as a "start of class" or "end of class" activity.

After discussing perfect squares in class, I would pass out this Perfect Squares Board copied on both sides. I would ask students to circle the numbers they thought would be a perfect square. I would then ask students to flip over their papers and circle the numbers that ARE perfect squares. (I would give them a few minutes in class to do the calculations.) We would then discuss the results (i.e. surprised by the number, how many were correct, etc.).
