About the store

Experience

I have taught 7th and 8th-grade math at Culpeper Middle School for eleven years.

Teaching style

I love to be moving around the room and helping students. My class is a place where students learn from their mistakes and is built around creating confidence for those who have struggled in previous years in a math class.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was named Teacher of the Year at Culpeper Middle School 2017-2018 school year. I am currently the School Testing Coordinator.

My own education history

I graduated from North Carolina State University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Math Education with a Concentration in Middle Grades.

Additional biographical information

After school, I enjoy every second I get to spend with my wife and three sons.
