use this 2 days worth of lessons to review decimal place value! The lessons review the terms tenths, hundredths, and thousandths as well as writing decimals in standard, word, and expanded form.

I created this cut out game for students to review different customary conversions. The game starts off pretty easy by reviewing base conversions and progresses in difficulty by having students practice conversions by jumping units as well as with multiple amounts of units. There are 28 cards with a definite start and a different finish. The cards are in order vertically on each page for your convenience.

This card sort has up to 5 layers to its sort. The first two layers show adding and subtracting fractions (mixed numbers) and has two equivalent ways to show the problem. The next layer has a word problem that matches with the pair of equivalent equations. The next layer has the answer to all three sets. The last layer has an option for students to draw out the fraction equivalents on the card. Blank cards have also been provided so that you can exchange any card and have students create their

This product was used as an enrichment activity for my higher level students. The students are asked to work with money, time, directions, and organizational skills while planning a field trip for the class. Not only do students work with these math skills, they are also able to work on writing skills and presentation skills.

I used this as a quiz for my students who were studying customary and metric conversions. Students should fill in the conversion numbers as well as the names for each conversion that is required on 5th grade standards.
