There are 28 cards with a definite start and a different finish. The cards are in order vertically on each page for your convenience.
This card sort has up to 5 layers to its sort.
The first two layers show adding and subtracting fractions (mixed numbers) and has two equivalent ways to show the problem.
The next layer has a word problem that matches with the pair of equivalent equations.
The next layer has the answer to all three sets.

This product was used as an enrichment activity for my higher level students. The students are asked to work with money, time, directions, and organizational skills while planning a field trip for the class. Not only do students work with these math skills, they are also able to work on writing skills and presentation skills.
I used this as a quiz for my students who were studying customary and metric conversions.
Students should fill in the conversion numbers as well as the names for each conversion that is required on 5th grade standards.
