This is a worksheet, partner activity, or quiz with 13 different verbs. There is a mixture of -ar/-er/-ir verbs and also includes the verbs estar and ser.
This is great to use after you have taught -ir verbs so students can review -ar & -er verbs as well.
Verbs are given in parentheses after sentence. A great first step would be for the students to define the verbs first and then conjugate them correctly.
This is a great alternative activity after you have introduced subjunctive. This activity will appeal to the artistic side of students and they will be happy to do something other than a worksheet :)
Student will fold their paper into 3 and use drawings and the subjunctive with emotion and doubt to write and illustrate sentences using the present subjunctive. I used the themes of animals, school, & the environment for the 3 drawings, but you are able to edit according to your vocabulary intere
This is a great activity to cut up and give half of the class the questions and the other half of the class the answers. This could be done in smaller groups as well so that students get more practice or even in partners with the teacher asking the question and the students looking for the correct answer.
There are 25 basic questions and answers with things like, De donde eres, cuando es tu cumpleanos, etc.
This is a fantastic oral and written activity that includes an interview with a family member (this might meet some criteria for the community domain in some teacher evaluations!!). This is also a great practice with preterite, imperfect and el imperfecto del subjuntivo. I think this would pair well with the relaciones personales chapter in the 2014 AP Curriculum.
Activity #1-Students respond to questions about their own childhood and are encouraged to verify things with their parents if they
I use this quiz at the end of the irregular preterite unit. This quiz includes the correct verb in parenthesis so the goal is to see if the student understands irregular verbs in the preterite. There is a wide variety of irregular verbs types: divertirse, buscar, hacer, estar, etc.
My students loved this scavenger hunt!
You will receive a 9 page document set up for 4 groups in your Spanish I class. Arm your groups with 1 dictionary per group and something to write with. After the students write down the correct school supply (on the provided paper) AND bring you the school supply, then you will give them their next clue (provided as well). The answer key is provided for all 4 groups with only 1 clue repeated.

I use this in Spanish I. This can be used on day 2 or 3 with the verb gustar to review notes or to introduce them. Great with a partner for cooperative learning too. It contains two parts:
Part1-Word bank with indirect object pronouns and the two basic forms of the verb gustar (with the reasons to use gusta vs. gustan)
Part2- 10 practice sentences (fill in the blank) with either indirect object pronouns missing or form of gustar.

I have 11 sentences (I page per sentence so you can project on screen) with examples of problematic sentences in preterite vs imperfect. Many of the verbs are irregular as well and nost have at least two blanks for words.
I use this activity by numbering students off to group them and then each group has a white board and a marker with one writer per question. With each sentence the white board is passed to another member of the group. Students can hold up white board and teacher can keep sc

Maestraocupada (Busy Teacher)
This activity is great for a Spanish II or III class practicing (or reviewing) the preterite. This focuses on 14 verbs that are irregular and tend to give students problems. There is a word bank so students must also understand what the verbs mean to be able to complete this. Some of the verbs used are dar, andar, saber, ir, ser, poner, poder, etc.
Check out My Irregular Preterite Verbs Guide. It would be great for the students to have on hand while completing this activity.
If this is your first year teaching No Oyes Ladrar los Perros or you just need to freshen up your lesson...you are in the right place!
I use this in advanced Spanish and this packet includes the following:
Exam-3 pages. Page 1 includes 2 short essay questions about the story. Pages 2 & 3 include difficult vocabulary words from the story. For each vocab word, student must define in Spanish and then use the word in a sentence in the context of the story.
In class activities-Page 4 has part
This is a quick 10 question quiz or assessment to be used at the end of the -er and -ir verbs lesson. All of the verbs are regular and are given in parenthesis at the end of the sentence. This would work great as a warm up or exit slip to check student comprehension.

11 question fill in the bank activity practicing the present perfect tense in Spanish. This activity includes both regular and irregular participles. This could be used as a class activity, homework, quiz, or partner activity.
This is a letter that I have sent out to parents at the beginning of a semester with new students. I have found that the information that the parents provide from my letter is often more up to date than the parent information found in the district system. You could add your school's letterhead or some clip art of your school mascot to add some flair. This letter will help you start your year off on a positive note with parents.
Please look for my classroom rules file to attach to the parent
This is a partner project that I use with my Spanish II class when we are working with food vocabulary. In many textbooks this vocabulary is introduced at the same time restaurant vocabulary is used and verbs such as servir, pedir, etc. You will need a microphone for each group in the computer lab for this activity. I suggest 1-2 days in the computer lab depending on the skills and resources of your students.
There are 4 pages of activities:

This Jeopardy Game has 51 slides and I use it with En Espanol Unidad 1 Etapa 1. There is one column of vocabulary from En espanol, but it can be easily adapted to the vocabulary of your text book. The columns are as follows:
Ser/Estar, Pret Vs Imp, Vocabulary words, More Pret vs Imp, Review
I use this by splitting the students into 4 or 5 groups with a small white board. Each group has to hold up their hand when they think they have the right answer and I go and check it and say "doscientos p
This is a great activity to review the verb Ser and subject pronouns. The top has a review of the subject pronouns and a graphic for the students to fill in before they get started.
There are then 10 questions based on where someone is from or what their profession is. The students will write the subject pronoun on the first line and the correct form of the verb Ser on the second line.
This could be used as a quiz, homework, or in class activity.

This family bingo game is great for a review of family members. There are two different cards provided and you can edit them based on your class needs. I have provided 30 different answers in Spanish to Spanish. For example the teacher would read:
El hermano de mi mama. The students would then mark TIO on their bingo card.
There are 7 open ended questions using the Imperfect for students to work with a partner. This is a great warm up or wrap up to get students speaking in Spanish II or III when you have just introduced the past imperfect.
These questions are about things that they "used to do" when they were younger.
