About the store
Differentiation equals success for all. Not every student learns at the same rate and has the same abilities. Learning can occur at many different levels, and it is vital that all students grow as critical thinkers, problem solvers, and learners. I offer different levels of tasks and assessments to ensure success for all students and make myself available to help in any way possible. I will continue to research and create new and better ways of allowing my students to reach their full potential and am always seeking innovative ways to help students succeed in my classroom. Not only do I want them to be successful, but I want them to enjoy learning along the way.
I model the importance of education by constantly furthering my education as well. I am proud to have earned a marketing degree, an early childhood education degree, a middle grades education degree, a master’s degree in early childhood education, a specialist degree in curriculum and instruction, and my gifted endorsement.

Central Tendency & Box Plots Centers with Mean Absolute Deviation
This is a collection of centers that I created for review. There are five central tendency centers, five box plots centers, and five mean absolute deviation centers. Each card has several questions that require calculations and analyzing information. I printed them out on card stock paper and made cards out of them with the answers on the back of each card. This is a great way to review these concepts.

Would You Rather? Real World Percentage Task Cards
This set of real world task cards includes twelve different situations that are presented where the students will use percentages to calculate both scenarios to help them decide which is mathematically better. This is a great activity to get students up and moving around the room. The task cards can be printed out and posted around the room. Students can then randomly go to problems to solve. Going in a random order allows students to move at their own pace.

Find the Error - Data and Graphs with Central Tendency and Variation
This is an activity that I created for my students to find the mistake when a student has answered questions from graphs about measures of center and variation incorrectly. I used common errors to help them see the mistakes commonly made. All of my products are common core aligned. I had the students work alone to solve the problems first, and then share with their groups. If there was any discrepancy, they looked in the answer folder on their tables to see the correct answer. Coordinate Plane Graphic Organizer
This is a graphic organizer that I made for my students' interactive notebook. The students label each part of the coordinate plane and have visual clues to help them. This is a great review before moving on to graphing points, graphing lines, transformations on the coordinate plane, etc.

Find the Error - Law of Exponents
This is an activity that I use after teaching the properties of exponents. It can be used as a review for the test or as one of the tiered activities in a differentiated lesson. It really makes the kids think because it is not just rote practice. They have to understand the laws of exponents in order to find the mistake presented. There are also practice problems for each exponent property.

Where do my Tax Dollars Go? - an activity on government spending
This is a follow up activity did after "Paycheck Percentages". In this activity, groups analyzed and discussed graphs and compared government spending in many areas. They then looked at wasteful government spending, included. Transformations on the Coordinate Plane Interactive Lesson
This is a 31 page power point with detailed guided notes and examples that can be used in the classroom as a note taking method, differentiation, or resource for classwork. Answers are included and would be a great resource for interactive notebooks! I am really trying to teach my students how to take math notes, and this is a great way to do just that! Passing Notes - an Integer Operations Activity
This is a task I created for my students to practice integer operations. I uploaded it as a word document so that you may change it to meet your needs. Geometry Interactive Notes

I taught in elementary and middle schools for 30 years. The last seven years I was instructional lead teacher. More recently, I have gotten certified as a behavior therapist working with autistic children.
