Going on 6 years experience from levels Pre-K-adult, both regular ed, and special ed, and 9 different languages. Much of my experience has been at the kindergarten age. This year, I'm excited to have a wonderfully independent group of 2nd graders, and can't wait to see them grow!
These pages are for students just learning to use a calculator. I used them in a math center with my kindergarteners. The addition and subtraction pages can be independent, as they give exactly which buttons to push, and students can double check their work using their fingers, manipulatives, or mental math. The story problem pages would possibly need a bit more guidance, as students may or may not be able to read the problem, depending on their reading level.

The following packet focuses on ten frames for numbers 1-10 and 11-20. You can give these to your students for practice or assessment. There are three different types of pages included (fill in the ten frame, fill in the number, matching) and each page includes an answer key.
These pages work on Common Core State Standards for Counting and Cardinality: K.CC.B.4, K.CC.B.4.A, K.CC.B.4.B, K.CC.B.4.C, and K.CC.B.5. These involve recognizing numbers in a sequence, one-to-one correspondence, and reco
Included in this place value base-10 sorting mat set are two mats designed to be used with base-10 blocks. One mat has hundreds, tens, and ones, and the other mat only has tens and ones. In each ones place, there is a ten frame so your students can easily organize their ones cubes.
These mats can help you teach the following CCSS:
K.NBT.A.1
1.NBT.B.2
1.NBT.B.2a
1.NBT.B.2b
1.NBT.B.2c
2.NBT.A.1
2.NBT.A.1a
2.NBT.A.1b
I hope these help your students understand numbers broken down in base-10!

For this activity you will need the recording sheets that are included in the download and a pair of dice (not included). The recording sheets are designed to be double sided. When using with my own students, my goal is to reinforce CCSS K.OA.A.5, or adding to or subtracting from 5. This is a good math center or math workshop station.
The activity is very simple:
For addition (pages 2-3), roll your dice. Write one number in each of the first two boxes. Add your two numbers together and put you

This is just like the classic Go Fish game, but made with Base 10 Blocks to reinforce the recognition of numbers.
This game can be played with all sets of cards or just two. It can also be played with just a selection, like 0-20. Depending on the levels of your students and what you are studying, you can choose how you would like your kids to play.
*Best if printed on cardstock
**When printing your cards, you can double side them with the fish picture page as the back of the cards.

A 10 page packet (with answer keys) to help your students understand fractions. With my 2nd graders in mind, it fits CCSS 2.G.A.3, but I also found that it fits both 1st and 3rd grade standards, 1.G.A.3 and 3.G.A.2.
You can use it as an "At Your Seat" math center for workshop, an "I'm Done" packet, as homework, enrichment, or a quick assessment to see where your students are in understanding fractions. There are varied levels of difficulty within the packet since some fractions a

In this packet, I have included 10 pages of different practice problems on the concept of figuring out the problem with traditional multiplication and checking it with the lattice method. In other words, each page looks similar, but has different problems. This makes it easy to give out for an assessment and promote students doing their own work or give out extra pages for extra practice.
I used these with my 3rd grade tutoring group, but it also touches on the 4th grade standard, 4.NBT.B.5, a

2. Cut the numbers from the cards and create a matching game where your students match the tally card with the corresponding number.
3. Set up a game of “Go Fish” in partners or groups where each student gets 5 cards (or more dependin
