This product includes three booklets to guide middle school students in scientific writing and three rubrics for scoring student writing.
The guidelines, tips, and rubrics included are specific for reporting on the results, discussion, and conclusion of a lab or experiment. Students are scaffolded in their writing and given tips for structuring, organizing, and fluently connecting their ideas.

This is my 5th year teaching middle school math and second year teaching 7th grade earth science.
Teaching style
My ultimate goal is for my students to view themselves as mathematical thinkers and communicators who have the capacity to solve problems, develop mathematical arguments, and persevere when learning is tough! I have centered my classroom around mathematical practices and problem solving in hopes of fostering within my students confidence as math learners.
