This resource is the editable library sign out sheet I use in my personal classroom library. At the beginning of the year, I teach my students how they can "check out" books from the classroom library, "look up" if any peers already have a book out, etc. I have even created "librarian" as a classroom job for Friday afternoons! I print my sheets on a different color for each month. You can even post this onto Google Docs to have a digital copy for your class!

This editable document is the skeleton of a weekly newsletter to send home to families. Each Friday, I send an email to all families with a list of questions (typically one question per subject) which allows for families to talk with their students about what they are learning in school. In my version of "Friday Questions" I also include a section for important reminders (e.g. field trips, upcoming conferences, changes in school calendar, etc.)
