Have students practice plotting points on a coordinate plane. When they connect the points in order, a picture of a much-beloved fictional character or historical figure appears. The pictures range from including 56-87 points in 4-6 shapes. They are each available individually here on TPT as well: ~ Picture Graphing (Alien)~ Picture Graphing (Snowman)~ Picture Graphing (Dinosaur)~ Picture Graphing (Robot)~ Picture Graphing (Shakespeare)~ Picture Graphing (Lincoln)If you like this document,

Comparing Cost Using Unit Rate This worksheet teaches students how to compare two prices by finding the unit rate of each. After walking through an example, students solve 14 similar problems. Once completed, a final puzzle is offered. Take the first letter of the correct answers' company names to spell the answer the question: Why Learn About Unit Rate?
Pairs of students face off in this classic game of deduction, but instead of guessing faces, they must guess shapes!
The game gives students practice in identifying properties of various polygons, including:
- Regular Polygons
- Types of Quadrilaterals
- Right Angles
- Sets of Parallel Sides
- and more!
Included in this PDF file are:
- an information sheet for students to review the properties of the shapes included in the game (or to use as a cheat sheet during the game).
- a set of cards fro

Students in groups of 3 or 4 each draw four cards and place them on their Card Mat. After multiplying the created fractions on a scratch piece of paper, they write their answers in the appropriate space. If their answer is correct, they score points. The game was surprisingly engaging and competitive even for my reluctant learners. Enjoy!

This is a fun card game that gets students to interact with improper and mixed fractions. Student draw cards to set up an improper fraction, and then must convert it to a mixed fraction. The spaces on the Card Mat are slightly larger than standard playing card sizes, and so should fit any playing deck you have for the students to use. Enjoy!
