Get your kids engaged with integers by going on a scavenger hunt! This follows Common Core standard: CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.6.NS.C.7.B Cut out the 20 questions, and paste them around your room. The students can start at any problem, and it will lead them in the same order. Students will solve a problem, and the find the answer at the top of another problem. This is a great way to engage students in practicing how to reflect points on a coordinate plane. The will work in pairs (or by themselves) and draw from a deck of cards to create ordered pairs. Black cards represent positive numbers, and red represents negative numbers. Each ordered pair will be reflected over the x-axis and y-axis. This is a great resource to add technology in your classroom while practicing how to add and subtract fractions! Students love scanning these QR Codes to get their question! Students will need to be able to access the internet for the QR Code to pull up the question. There are big and small QR Codes to fit your style and needs. In case your students don't have technology, I have included the questions in a PDF. There are 12 one-step word problems that involve adding and subtracting fractions

This activity is works on finding the area of rectangles. The students will scan the QR codes to get the questions. If you students do not have technology, I have included a copy of the questions you can use instead. There are 20 problems to solve. Some questions have a picture of rectangle with measurements, and some will have word problems. This is great for 6th grade and 7th grade math.
