Get your kids engaged with integers by going on a scavenger hunt! This follows Common Core standard: CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.6.NS.C.7.B Cut out the 20 questions, and paste them around your room. The students can start at any problem, and it will lead them in the same order. Students will solve a problem, and the find the answer at the top of another problem. The problem they find their answer on is the next problem they should solve. Included: -20 Questions -Answer Sheet to record answers -Answe
Translating Algebraic Expressions Matching Activity by Mrs. Kaley Lyons
Simply cut out the phrases, and have your students match the algebraic expressions to the correct verbal expressions. They can do this on their desk, or you can have them glue it on construction paper.
The first page is easy for when your students are just starting to learn what an expression is. The second page is a little bit harder, and the third page is the hardest. This is a great resource for differentiation sin
This is a great game to get your students to practice locating ordered pairs! This goes along with the 6th grade common core standard CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.6.NS.C.8: Solve real-world and mathematical problems by graphing points in all four quadrants of the coordinate plane. Simply cut out, and give each student a card! Depending on how many students are in your class, some students will end up with more than one. It is important that you use all the cards in the set because each card has a partn
Minute Math is a great way to get your students excited about multiplication and division. Instructions: Start all your students on the first multiplication sheet (0,1,2). Have them start with the paper upside down so they can't cheat, and when you say "go" they can start. Give them 1 minute to answer as many as they can. If they make it to the last row they have mastered 0,1,2's, and they can move on to the 3's. If your students jump around, they can't miss more than 8 to master that number
This is a great activity to find vertical and horizontal distances on a coordinate plane. This activity includes all FOUR quadrants, and works on the Common Core Standard 6.NS.C 8. Use this as math stations, gallery walk, independent practice, SCOOT, or however you want! Included: 20 Task Cards for finding distance 2 different style answer sheets for students to record answers Answer Key Please let me know if you would like anything personalized! I hope you enjoy! ~Mrs. Kaley Lyons

Graphing Inequalities Matching Activity.
Simply cut out, or have the students cut out, and match the inequality to the correct graph. The cards are already mixed up, so just print and give to students! They can work on their own, or in pairs. I had mine glue them to construction paper, so I could hang them up in my classroom.
The first page is easy, so it is great to use after you first introduce how to graph inequalities. The second page is a little bit harder where they have to identif
This is a great way for students to practice reflecting points on a coordinate plane. It will help students recognize that when two ordered pairs differ only by signs, the locations of the points are related by reflections across one or both axes.
This matching activity is aligned to Common Core Standard 6.NS.C.6.B.
There are 32 matching cards, and all you have to do is cut! They are already matched to the correct card, so you may need to mix them up if you are having students work on their

This is a great way to engage students in practicing how to reflect points on a coordinate plane. The will work in pairs (or by themselves) and draw from a deck of cards to create ordered pairs. Black cards represent positive numbers, and red represents negative numbers. Each ordered pair will be reflected over the x-axis and y-axis. I would suggest having them graph on their own paper because it will be a lot of points at the end! There is no answer key because each student will have diffe
