I developed this Lab Report Template in order to have students design their own lab report by developing their own purpose. I begin be offering a lab, such as what size crater is created when you drop a marble into a substance. Students then work in groups to determine their own independent and dependent variables in the boxes to the right. Then they can write their purpose and determine their hypothesis.
