Student Goal Setting Reflection Sheet
Schools in the DOE are moving towards having student-led parent-teacher conferences. For my class, I have made a Goal Chart for both ELA and Math. Students will be able to see where they are now, and where they would like to go. Using this outline, they will be able to brainstorm ways they can achieve their goals. I will be using them in my classroom so that my students can know what their goals are at all times. I'm hoping this will help them focus on where they are now and what they can do

Teaching style
I am a firm believer in good, old fashioned fun! If I can get my students to want to come to school, half of the battle has been won. With all that we have to do throughout the school year, it's so easy to lose track of student engagement. We have to keep students interested in what we have to teach. By using fun, hands-on, and interesting activities we can help our students become learners and more importantly, THINKERS!
