This is the same as the original sorting shapes file I previously posted, except, this one has more pages and offers more ways to sort the shapes. Sort by number of sides, number of angles, color, ets. Use T-charts, Venn Diagrams, box charts, etc.
This is a SMART notebook file. If you do not have SMART notebook software, you won't be able to view this file.
This is created with a math center or station in mind. The directions state that students are to trace the names of the 3-D shapes: cube, cone, sphere, pyramid, rectangular prism, triangular prism, cylinder. Then, students will cut out the pictures provided of real life objects, and sort them by their shape. Object images can be glued onto the sorting mat and even collected as an assessment.
This was designed to specifically meet math TEKS for first grade.
Hope it is useful for your students
