About the store

Experience

I have worked with children professionally for over 15 years. I work for a private day program for children (and some adults) with severe behaviors. My goal is to help students succeed in a classroom setting. I enjoy individualizing learning and communication for each student. I have students with Autism, Emotional Disabilities and/or Intellectual Disabilities.

Teaching style

My idea of using communication and language in a classroom setting is to get to know each and every student on an individual basis. All children learn differently, I know I sure do! This becomes a puzzle for me to solve, what pieces work together to help this child succeed?
