This board game can be played during a 45 minute class. It reviews the prepositions of behind, in front of, to the right/left of, and next toIt has been successful in classes of 4th and 5th grade. I think this game could be played from 3rd-8th grade. My students learning English in Spain really enjoyed this activity so I thought it was a must to share. On the Google Slides, there are 5 pages. The first 3 pages is the board game where you will have to print and tape them side by side to make it.
Assessment for Unit: Las vidas negras importan. This Google Drive presentation includes a short review and practice for how the formative assessment will work. This formative assessment is a listening interpretive assessment. Students will be asked to label and explain different situations of microagressions/structural racism from Black people's experiences living in Spain. I have an understanding of how daily experiences with technology can be an advantage and a motivation when learning a language. I also aim to include themes of social justice and activities of social emotional learning.
