Students will follow directions to complete their ice cream glyph. When they are finished, have students display their glyph in a central location, such as on a bulletin board or in a hallway. This math project involves students creating a survey question. They will then survey their classmates to create their data. Using this data, they will create a frequency table, a bar graph, a pictograph, a line plot, and will also find the range, median, mode, and mean of the data. Included in this project is a rubric for easy grading.

This is a Valentine's Day Conversation Heart math activity for upper grades. Students are given a box or bag of conversation hearts.
