This is a performance task aligned with the common core standards: 6.NS.5, 6.NS.6, 6.NS.7, 6.NS.8, 6.G3. It focuses on students plotting points, answering questions about quadrants, reflecting those points along the x and y axis, creating a polygon, naming the polygon, finding perimeter and area of their polygon and explaining the use of absolute value in calculating distances. There are 21 questions and an answer key included.

Scoot is a popular activity used to review, assess, and keep kids moving! This activity bundle includes 16 scoot task cards, directions for the game, an answer document for students to fill in the answers and graph, and it also includes an answer key. This bundle aligns to the sxith grade common core standards dealing with ratio tables (function tables), writing an equation, finding ordered pairs and graphing. (6.RP.30

This packet focuses on asking specific questions to guide graph making. The students complete 3 surveys (question choices by students) by asking students questions to collect data. They then create and make a circle graph, double line or bar graph, frequency table and a histogram from the different data they collected. This packet includes places to make their graphs, a rubric, the directions and places to collect their data.
