However, in addition, I worked as a Title I reading paraprofessional for four years, which totals seventeen years in the educational field. During the Revolutionary War, these were major battle campaigns between Great Britain and the Continental Army. Those involved included General George Washington leading the Continental Army and Lt. Cornwallis leading British troops. These photos were taken during a Teachers of American History tour of the Historic Triangle area in Virginia, and they were photographed by Robin Thames Lofton.

I describe my teaching style as eclectic since I use a combination of teaching strategies in my classroom. These include strategies such as multimedia projects, hands-on activities, and student-created presentations shown to other classes, grades, and parents.
