Experience
I have 14 years of science teaching experience. I have taught grades 4 though 12, but have spent most of my time in 8th grade science, physics, and physical science. I have taught in both inner city schools and rural schools.
Teaching style
I teach by using art and problem integration. I teach mini lessons and then give the rest of the class over to projects and work time. This gives me time to do intervention with students in need. I like assuming the teacher mentor role as the students puzzle through engineering challenges while also learning real science.
