Video notes that students can do to keep them engaged in the Study Jams video for Light: Absorption, Reflection, and Refraction. The video is only a few minutes long, but does a great job of explaining each of the Light vocabulary words. It is ideal for 5th grade but can definitely be used by other grades. If you have a few computer you can use this as a science center. Students will be able to complete sheet on their own. Also includes a formative assessment on the bottom where it asks students

A simple graphic organizer for students to write/take notes on the 6 nutrients that the body needs. The six nutrients are: protein, vitamins, minerals, water, fats and carbohydrates. The directions included are: Use the table below to record HOW each nutrient helps you/what it allows your body to do. Then draw examples of some examples of the foods that provide these nutrients.
