Video notes that students can do to keep them engaged in the Study Jams video for Light: Absorption, Reflection, and Refraction. The video is only a few minutes long, but does a great job of explaining each of the Light vocabulary words. It is ideal for 5th grade but can definitely be used by other grades. I presented this PPT to my students the first week of school to introduce growth mindset. Within the presentation are links to ClassDojo's Mind Growthset videos, and a video on "Famous Failures" found on youtube. I would stop before the video would reveal who the 'famous failure' was just to make it more interactive for my students.
