This problem allows students to write linear equations comparing two companies selling T-shirts. Students also are to graph the equations to find the point of intersection.

This is a way for students to analyze the Presidential election mathematically. Students will look at the number of electoral votes for each state and find mean, median, mode and create a stem-and-leaf plot. After the election they will look at the percentage of votes earned by each candidate and create bar and pie charts of the results. I did this lesson 4 years ago and it was a big hit.
