This is an activity in which students find the factors of 1-24 using cookie cereal to make arrays to assist them. They complete a chart as they find each factor. After finding the factors or 1-24, there is a sheet in which they identify the prime and composite numbers. There are also practice finding factors worksheets included. I created this activity as an alternative to the Core Curriculum Unit 2 Activity 4. I've used it in my classroom and it worked very well.
Division unit vocabulary cards include the terms difference, division, divisor, dividend, quotient, and division notations. The cards also include how to tell if a number is divisible by 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, and 10 with examples. Printing the cards for the students saves time and prevents handwriting and copying issues. Look great in black and white too!
Unit 2, Activity 1 vocabulary cards including terms addend, sum, factor, product, multiple, array, multiplication, area, distributive property, property of zero, and identity property. The term variable is included since it is used in this unit. Printing the cards for the students saves time and prevents handwriting and copying issues.
