Pacing Board Ladybug Speech Freebie
Hello, Thanks for using my first graphic- Little Miss Pacing Bug.
A Pacing Board is used as a visual and kinesthetic device to improve intelligibility of speech.
Uses for a Pacing Board:
1. Pacing out sentences such as ”I-am-going-camping.”
2. Breaking apart multi-syllabic words such as “A-NI-MAL. ”
3. Helping to slow down the rate of speech for students who talk
fast.
4. Assisting students who are leaving out sounds and/or words.

Experience

Teaching style
I believe that children need to feel safe, nurtured, and cared for before they can fully be open to learning. Personal relationships with each of my students is something that I strive for. I also want all of my students to know that there may be frustration in learning and that is okay and part of the process. Making learning enjoyable and incorporating as many learning styles/modes of teaching into my lessons is a goal I'm always aiming for.
