About the store
I have been teaching 7th grade Math for over 20 years. My teaching philosophy is to have students practice while I offer support. The less talking I do, the more practice the student does. The more practice the student does, the better they understand the material. Math is about balance. Math is about patterns. Practice makes better!

INTERACTIVE NOTEBOOK TABLE OF CONTENTS AND VOCABULARY PAGE We want our students to use their INTERACTIVE NOTEBOOKS, so let’s help them to make them organized. At the start of each unit, the students set up their notebook with these pages. I give them a blank Table of Contents (as is) to glue into their notebook. We fill it in as we go through the unit. I have also had them tab, paperclip, or mark where this page in the notebook is. The Vocabulary Page has been given to them in different ways

I DON’T HAVE MY HOMEWORK Do you hear all types of excuses for why students don’t have their homework? Students still receive a zero (if you choose) but I DON’T HAVE MY HOMEWORK form helps you keep track of the data. I keep a stack of I Don’t Have My Homework by my “inbox”. While You Were Out… Do you hate the question, “What did I miss?”? WHILE YOU WERE OUT… forms will allow you to answer this question without interrupting your start of class routine. I keep a stack of WHILE YOU WERE OUT… papers at my desk. As I take attendance, I write the names of the absent students on the top of the paper. As class continues, I complete each section of the form as it occurs. These are then placed in a designated spot in the classroom. The next day students are in class they kn

17 CLASSROOM RULES to choose from to work with your CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT plan. All rules are stated as “Students will…” or “Students will NOT…” They have a white background so you don’t waste ink and can print on your own choice of colored paper to match your classroom décor. Personally, I have my CLASSROOM RULES prominently numbered so that I can refer to them for use with my CLASSROOM INFRACTION NOTICE. http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Infraction-Notice-1347709 You can earn TPT C

Classroom Infraction Notice is a way to give a student a warning while you keep teaching. Is a student’s behavior inappropriate, but not enough to get sent out of class? Is “the look” not enough of a warning? Just place the CLASSROOM INFRACTION NOTICE on their desk and continue with what you were doing. I have included two different versions. One version requires the adult to write down the rule that was broken. I have my rules posted with numbers next to them. I usually just write the rule nu

Daily Reflection: What did your students think of today’s lesson? What did your students learn today? Teach your students to reflect. Help yourself be a better teacher. The last 5-10 minutes of class I have devoted to Daily Reflection & Exit Questions. On one side, I copy this Daily Reflection and on the other side, I have the students answer Exit Questions which can be posted on the Smartboard or already on the backside of the Daily Reflection. I have received valuable insight from stude
